Where are all the actors from the movie now?

I looked online but I really can't find anything about the 2 kids and I just wondered what they were doing now or what they looked like. Anybody know?

One more thing, I've heard this was based on a true story, anyone know the real story?

Well, I guess not a lot of people look at this board, or else don't care much about The Wilderness Family...too bad because it's a cool movie.

As far as I know it is NOT based on a true story...nothing written about that ON the DVD case or on the credits/etc. on the movie itself.

Google doesn't pull up much and if you look at the Hollye thread, she has a myspace... Susan's daughter (one of them) has quite the career...but I would have never known it was her...the children from the movie (both Jenny's and Toby) didn't have a long lasting acting career...mostly 70's...

I remember this from my kidhood. It's kinda sad how few remember this. Great TV. Wonderworks from PBS? Just wondering?

Boomer is dead. He played the old drunk pedestrian in Back to the Future.

She and I talked on MySpace a few years back. She is into the local music scene, band, etc.

Still gorgeous to boot.

Yes, the "Adventures of the Wilderness Family" was really good.
But in case nobody noticed, there are three more films that are very similar:

- The Sea Gypsies (Robert Logan, Heather Rattray)
- In Search of a Golden Sky (George "Buck" Flower)
- Across the Great Divide (Robert Logan, Heather Rattray, George "Buck" Flower)
- Further Adventures of the Wilderness Family (Robert Logan, Heather Rattray)
- Mountain Family Robinson (Robert Logan, Heather Rattray)

I saw the last 2 which were directly related to the original but will have to check out the other 3 you listed. Thanks!

Hi spike71,

I'm sure you'll enjoy them all.
"Across the Great Divide" is like a western, the other two are contemporary movies if I remember it right.
Please let me know if you liked them.

Cheers,

Chrissie
