Dog?

I really enjoyed this movie as a kid and now I show it to my class each year. They love it. What I hve never been able to figure out is, what is the dog's name? Sometimes it sounds like Crust,and sometimes it sounds like Crest. Does anyone know?

I know what you mean I've watched this one and most of the others that were written and produced by Art. I'm pretty sure the dog's name is Crest.

I lost count of how many times i saw this movie as a child but im pretty sure the dogs name is Crust!!

It's hard to understand sometimes but I think Crust is correct. Good thing they had him or they'd all be animal food!

Isn't that the truth! I show this movie to my kids (students) every year. Most of them have never seen it. They all want a dog just like Crest/Crust.

Actually, if you have the closed captioning on, in the frist movie his name is typed as KRESS...however it sounds like KRUST...and if you have it on in the 2 sequels, the dog is refered to as KRUST,on captioning and spoken word...
