If you get the scarface wolf pack scene then you're NOT watching part 1!

Just a heads up, many sites are putting the Wilderness Family movie with the wolves coming to the cabin in winter as part 1 made in 1975. NOT TRUE! That is actually part 2 made in 1978! Another sign should be the actress for Jenny. Heather Rattray is NOT in part 1, only 2 (with Scarface & the wolves) & 3 (with the guy trying to throw the family off the land). Hollye Holmes plays Jenny in the first movie only.

It is extremely difficult to find part 1 either for sale or to watch online so if anyone has any links for either, please post them here.

The REAL part 1 has them living in the city & shows how they leave & meeting Samson for the first time. Scenes include being stuck in traffic & talking about leaving (hence the traffic reference in the wolfish movie), a small wolf pack appearance (expanded story in part 2) & Skip opening the window yelling "WE'RE GETTING OUT OF HERE!!"

Going on the roof when Samson comes for the first time & they stay up there. Later they meet Boomer & he explains Samson. First movie also explains why there are two bear cubs.

If you're not seeing such scenes, you're on the wrong one.

First part is "The Wilderness Family (1975)" & with Hollye Holmes.

Second part is "The FURTHER Adventures Of The Wilderness Family (1978)" but often posted as part 1. This movie takes place in the first winter with Scarface & the wolfpack. Also, Heather Rattray takes the character of Jenny.

Third part is "Mountain Family Robinson (1979)" & takes place the following spring after the wolves are gone. Here some dumbass tries to throw the family off the land, saying that they are not allowed there & the cabin is to be leveled. Again, Heather Rattray takes the character of Jenny.

Hope that helps 

I don't know how long they've had it, but I just watched it on Hulu

There was this fire, and I had to save it from a baby...
