This turns up in an interesting L.A. Times article about forgotten films

Adios Amigo only gets a minor mention well into the story, but it's interesting just how many movies like it have languished at Deluxe for one reason or another. I suspect this one was moved slightly up the ladder of importance -- earning a transfer to the Academy Film Archive -- due to its cast. Here's the story:
