With lines like this, Peter Fonda just cruises on, totally in his element, at least back in the mid 70's. What a cast - including the great Warren Oates, Harry Dean, Margot Kidder, Elizabeth Ashley, Burgess Meredith and Sylvia Miles (together in a brilliant boss/secretary scene.)Also, the Keys will never look that good again. A movie of its time from a good novel by Mcguane. I love it, and agree with those who say it is worthy of a Criterion release. "Somebody left a wahoo on the scale over the weekend,and it, well...it turned....." And yes, Margot was super hot back then.....
