Loved this show when I was growing up, it was on before my time, but reruns aired in the mid-90s when I was in high school and I was glad I got to watch it, very funny and great characters. Travolta sure looked young then.

shareIt wasn't perfect, and the 4th season was abysmal, but it was far better than most of what was on TV at time!
shareIt aired before my time too and I like it also. I also was in remedial (aka special ed) classes so I can identify with the sweathogs.
This is one of the shows which could actually work as a remake--maybe move it south--where they chronically underfund special ed services and/or add more women/girls into the class (lots of guys in the original).
