Welcome Back theme song

Didn't it sound like the sweathogs were singing the opening/closing theme song, "Welcome Back." I know it was done by John Sebastian. However, it sounds like the 4 sweathogs are all singing Welcome Back to Mr Kotter.

Oh yeah, the Sweathogs were all waiting in Kotter's classroom and they all broke out in song. Barbarino was the lead and the three other sweathogs did the backing vocals, lol!
