Death Ride = The Gauntlet

The basic idea is identical to Clint Eastwood's movie the Gauntlet.

Cop(s) charged with escorting a key witness from San Francisco to L.A.
A leak within the department sets hit men on their trail.
They don't know who to trust, so they are "targets and they can't even ask for help".

Only dif is the woman they escort is a decoy.
