Who was your favorite Starsky & Hutch love interest?

Out of all the women who crossed paths with Starsky & Hutch (girlfriends, exes, casual dates, women they pursued, potential romances that never took off, etc.), did you have a favorite?

I actually felt pretty indifferent about most of the love interests they had on. Maybe it's because most of them were on the show for just a single episode and that's not much time to really develop a character or for an audience to really get to know and like a character. But there were a few standouts for me:

Hutch:

The doctor from “The Plague” (I forget her name)

Even though the relationship never bloomed into a romance, there was something about the character that I simply found quite likable. Plus, she didn't play the more common “damsel in distress” that this series was populated by and was actually the one who ends up saving Hutch's life (with the help of Starsky) instead of the other way around.

Starsky:

Terry from “Starsky's Lady”

The actress who played Terry gave such an endearing performance and they did a good job of making me really believe that Starsky cared deeply for her and truly loved her. I would have liked to have seen Terry stick around a while longer.

Meredeth from “Black and Blue”

I hadn't known the show had ventured into “interracial relationship” territory before watching this episode and I was pleased with the way they handled it. I thought there was some very good chemistry between Meredeth and Starsky. Plus, Meredeth was one of the few “kick-a*s” females on the show – it was nice to see a woman on this show who could take care of herself.

So, who were your favorite love/potential love interests from the show?

I would have to go with Terry as well. When I first saw the episode "Starsky's Lady", I fell in love and back then, I was only 12. Season Hubley is her name and she was with Kurt Russell before he and Goldie Hawn got together. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

She acted with her husband, Kurt, in Escape from New York, and played a hooker in Vice Squad.

Starsky and Hutch were Starsky and Hutch's greatest loves.
