State of the Union

Kind of surprised SNL won't be new this weekend, because State of the Union (regardless of who's in office) is a go-to for the cold open. If they do it anyway, I predict a joke about "Finish the Job? Two years from now will Joe be able to remember what the job is? He just misplaced classified papers not long ago, hello, soon he'll be hiding his keys from himself!"

SNL still goes after Trump way more than Biden. They may take an occasional "old age" jab at him during Update, but no way they are going to dedicate an entire opener on attacking "their" leader.

I will say, the 2022-2023 guy doing Trump is fantastic. He just solidifies how awful and pathetic that killer Alec Baldwin was. Baldwin's mannerisms were so stupid and exaggerated, and he just spewed hatred, you could tell. This new guy's voice is dead on. Even though I hate SNL and NBC politics, I enjoy watching the new Trump character.
