Watched some old episodes on Peacock from season 17 and 18

I can't believe how good the show was at that time. Carvey, Farley, Myers, Hartman, Sandler, Rock, Schneider, Spade, Nealon, etc.

That was the show that aired back when I was in high school. I watched every one of them. They were incredible.

I wish Peacock didn't cut out about half of the skits. I can deal with the musical guest being left out, but they cut a lot of actual skits from each episode.

Well that sucks. That's the worst bit of watching the show in syndication. They chop a whole 30 minutes out. And the skits they cut are always the really weird and outlandish ones that didn't always land. Those were the skits I like best. I was hoping because of the freedoms afforded by streaming they'd have the entire episodes as originally aired.

They probably want you to buy the DVD sets. Maybe those are complete.

Season 15 is the best ever IMHO. Also, 2007-2013 are very good as well.

I've been watching episodes on Peacock as well.

I don't know copyright laws and other stuff...but it seems in 1980 or 1981 the peacock broadcasts go from 90 minutes to 30 or 23 minutes.

Very disappointing.
