Baldwin spoke about Saturday Night Live and his new ABC weekly talk show Sundays with Alec Baldwin in wide-ranging Hollywood Reporter interview. Baldwin also spoke about why his MSNBC chat show failed after a few episodes. "The show died an ugly death," he says, blaming that experience on being paired with a news producer. MSNBC was a horrible marriage and just a really bad experience." So why do another TV interview show? "It's longer, and it’s not a pre-produced segment on the couch of a talk show — which is nearly always promotional," he says. "The watchword for me is origins. I like to talk to people about their origins. How did they grow up and how were they primed for this kind of work? How did Jerry Seinfeld become Jerry Seinfeld? I think that's inspiring for artists and performers."

Alec Baldwin has all sorts of problems. It's particularly interesting how many personality traits he shares with Trump. Baldwin wanted a political career more than anything and is reduced to playing POTUS. His wife is absolutely crazy. She has body dysmorphia and a massive eating disorder. And she plays it out on Instagram. Alec was just so desperately lonely and had been turned down by Salma Hayek. He took the next Latina who came along... And by the way, Hilaria was raised in Boston. Her Latina shtick is as fake as everything else about her. they deserve each other. Unfortunately they now have four children who deserve much better.
