Gaga was not lip-syncing. Did you not hear Gaga sounding out of breath during parts of the performance, or hear her "Come on, SNL, let's go!" ad-libs, mid-performance? She was using a backing track. She always uses backing tracks for up-tempo performances. That's not lip-syncing. Also, there was no "fake" guitar-playing. Both Mark Ronson and Gaga actually play the guitar on A-YO.

Yes, it was. It was fun, energetic and she looked like she was having a good time performing the song.
