The gentleman playing Trump is a real stand up guy

gee, I wonder why his career dwindled away into the gutter  But I guess he's a hero to whatever this SNL audience has become.

How has his career dwindled away to nothing?! That's laughable.

Since that voicemail debacle in 2007, he has won 2 Emmys, 2 Golden Globes, and 7 SAG Awards for "30 Rock," co-hosted The Oscars, and signed a $10.5 million advertising deal with Capital One...all of which he donated to charity.

And now he's hosting "Match Game" LOL. I think his career has suffered because he's gotten older and fat, not really because of the tapes. He's no longer a bankable movie star, so he's reduced to hosting game shows.

reply

And he still starred in "The Hunt for Red October". One of my favorite movies ever.

I think Baldwin would've been a good choice to play Batman in the late 1980's and early 1990's.

Oh, I so agree. I think Baldwin would have made a better choice for Batman in 1989 than Michael Keaton. Tim Burton reportedly chose Keaton as Batman because of their work together in Beetlejuice, but Baldwin was also in Beetlejuice.

Baldwin's best shot at superhero franchise was "The Shadow," which was a bomb.

reply

I like Michael Keaton as Batman. I just think Baldwin would've been good for the role at the time too. I think he looked more like Bruce Wayne than Keaton did.

I agree. Baldwin looked like Bruce Wayne. Keaton didn't. Burton said he wanted an "every man" to play Batman and that's why he chose Keaton.

reply

Baldwin was probably disqualified when Kim Bassinger was cast in the lead female role. Of course, by that line of reasoning, Tom Cruise could have been disqualified twice.

reply

He could have been the next Harrison Ford. Had a big hit with Hunt for Red October but because he's a hothead and made too many demands for an up and coming actor, Harrison Ford took over. Plus he got fat.

reply

It's because he's a democrat and everyone know democrats get away with whatever they want because that's their thing. Anti-establishment. Republicans cherish rules and good Vs evil, black and white, etc. so when a republican does or says the same things that a democrat does (Trump vs Baldwin/Bill Clinton) then it's so shocking. No one cares if Bill is a slut or Cosby rapes. But god forbid Trump says pussy to a dude....even longer ago then Baldwins tirade.

reply

Nobody gives a crap about Alec Baldwin. Rational people do not care what Alec Baldwin does, or did in the past, because he is not running for President.

It's rather pathetic that anyone needs that explained to them.

reply

Past behavior sets the standard.

reply

So Alec Baldwin can get away w/ making fun of Donald Trump's misgivings, yet it isn't fair game to go look into his own trash!? I don't give a *beep* if he's running for president or not, he's still given a public platform to lampoon a real life figure's own questionable behavior. Quite frankly, if you can dish it out, then you most certainly can take it (like Eddie Murphy couldn't when David Spade joked about him).

reply

"Republicans cherish rules"

You're a fûcking racist partisan idiot. You're the one excusing republicans of bad behavior, hypocrite. Kill yourself.

Baldwin also admitted he is still considering going into politics. He had once toyed with the idea of running for New York Mayor.

He told the latest issue of Vanity Fair: 'I think I do want to go into politics. I really, really do.

'And I don’t know if I will.

'If I want to run, run for what? You have to stop and ask a lot of whys. Run for the glory? Run to complete some missing piece of myself? I can keep doing what I’m doing for a living now and be perfectly happy.'

Alec just calls his daughter a "rude, thoughtless little pig" instead of wanting to *beep* her like Donald Trump!

As bad as Alec is or maybe, is brother Daniel is ten times worse:
