Was Da Fonz ever a cast member?
I thought I read that Da Fonz got his start on this show but scrolling through I couldn't find him there. Was he on with Dan Ackeroyd and Eddie Murphy?

Michael McKean, who played Lennie on Laverne and Shirley, later was a cast member.

Yeah, they brought McKean and Chris Elliott on in that season right before the last big purge just prior to the Ferrel et al era. I thought it was weird bringing those two on as cast members after they'd long been established. Of course they did the same thing about a decade earlier with Crystal, Short, and Guest, but I was a kid then and didn't realize those folks had been around a little while.
