does anyone know when the storyline with her and pat is going to be on? i am sick of delia at this point i absolutely HATE the way she acts with frank but i want to see the delia/pat storyline. i am about wearing my dvr out ffing past most of this stuff now :/

she and Frank reconcile and she has the affair with Roger, Frank finds out and she agrees to go away with Roger, which bothers Pat and he goes after her, impregnates her

this is my first time watching from the beginning, but i've gathered from their conversation, that Delia and Pat were involved prior to the show's debut. sounds like she married Frank because Pat wouln't commit.
yes, i too don't like how she acts with Frank.
in later years (when i got involved with the show), when Seneca was married to Jill, just before Edmund died, i was rooting for the "love that would not die" between Jill and Frank. but watching now, i think they are both sanctimonious creeps that just push their relationship in Delia's face. sure, Delia is not a good match for Frank (for many reasons), but Jill being there all the time is such a slap in the face to Delia.
I agree! I originally started a little into the series and always rooted for Frank & Jill, but these early days are making me see it in a different light. How can Jill keep coming to his mother's house to see him with his wife present?? It is so bizzare! It also annoys me that the rest of the Ryan's speak about honesty and trust like they all have such high standards and morals but are willing to accept Frank's infidelity with no problem. Plus there's a baby involved. Previously when I watched, Delia was such a loon that had gone through so many antics it was understandable that the family had enough of her. But they all can accept Frank's behavior and poor treatment of her on the basis that "they've grown apart".
shareand then later Jill and Frank have Edmund, but she marries Seneca. Frank cannot ever acknoweldge Edmund, seemingly for his political career. and then later being with Faith, knowing that his heart is always with Jill. Frank seems like a such an entitled creep.

Frank has no virtues in his current incarnation. At least later on, when Daniel Hugh Kelly plays him, he's good looking and charming. Right now, he has no looks, no personality, no nothing.
And he's always sacrificing his personal relationships (Jill several times, and Edmond) for his beloved political career (which ends up going nowhere).
sjbradford; Seems like everybody is on the same page with FRANK. Watching it occasionally for the third time (first time original viewing) his character flaws are all too apparent. Amazing, MARY, MAUVE and of course JOHNNY still look upon through 'rose colored glasses' as some form of a 'cheaply' plated 'tin god'! The first two M&M is understandable, JOHNNY is just dumb.
sharedelia is so pathetic she gloms on to any ryan available. pat, then frank, back to pat then later barry ryan ( of the CHICAGO ryans lol ). but yeah i don't see why everyone is treating frank like some god he is not all that. what really gets me about the affair with jill and frank is apparently frank was boffing delia still because the baby is like what? one or so? and the affair has been going on for THREE years!

sharePossible Spoilers........ Frank Ryan could do no wrong. All through the time he was on the show he did very questionable things and there were always excuses. I never understood the fuss. And Mary always road shotgun for him. I always thought her relationship with Jack Fenelli was much more interesting. Delia's problems is it really did not matter what Ryan she was with it was all about her need to stay connected to the Ryan's. If Mary was a lesbian she would go after her too. lol
It will be years before we see Pat act out his insecurities about Delia. I am not going to give away how Delia manages to do this. But it is real juicy, so you will not be disappointed.

Edit; According to the summary list, they are showing January, 1976 right now and Pat and Dee get together on the cruise ship approximately December 1976.
At 10 episodes a week, I figure they will get together in late spring, early summer.

Ok it seemed longer then that to me. But I do know it is a while. It was a around year, Sounds right. But now because of the 2 episodes a night you're right. I keep on forgetting about that. And what is this about SoapNet changing to some Disney channel?
