Audrey and Lars

I know it's meant to be a comedy and they can't dwell too much, but I find it odd how emotionally unaffected Audrey seems about the passing of her son. Even when Phyllis says (in so many words), "What do you think of me having Lars' body exhumed and flown out here to San Francisco?" She's like "Oh wonderful..."

lol

This is supposed to be her son, right?

I haven't seen the show in years, but if I remember correctly, Audrey was a bit ditzy anyway, so her remark might just have been keeping with the character's personality. Also, I would guess that since Lars never actually appeared on screen on the MTM show, the writers figured the audience probably wouldn't be offended by a flippant remark about an never seen character that passed away.
