I always thought they belonged together. If Max and Julie hadn't met first, it would have be great to see them as a couple.
shareSeason 9 they had that attraction and shared a kiss!! I always wished there could have been a season 10 and maybe focus on some sexual tension between the two!
shareI loved the addition of the son in-laws too. I agree Max was a hotty. Yeah and the title of the spin off could have been something like Max and Barbara's love story. Since they would have been the two main characters.
shareYeah! But as much as I love and crush on Max I'd feel bad for Mark if Barbara were to leave him! I'm not attracted to Mark, but I love him in a brother in law type way! And if she left him for Max! My Gosh that would be two times Max took a Cooper sister from another man! Remember Julie was all set to marry Fred, and Max stole her away from him.
I'm thinking if Max and Barbara were to end up together, maybe it should be Mark who finds another woman and loses interest in Barbara, after all he is a dentist at this point! Making good money and he isn't bad looking! A female patient or a woman working in his dental office perhaps? And Barbara turns to Max for comfort over Mark leaving her ,and the mutual attraction from Season 9 reunites! Because if it is Barbara leaving Mark for Max, that would really make Max look like the bad guy!
