Anthony Burgess

I saw this movie on vhs for a couple bucks. I noticed the writing was acredited to Anthony Burgess. I am a huge fan of his novels but never heard of this movie so I thought it was a different person with the same name. However, after checking into it, it turns out to be the same one.

I was wondering if anybody has seen this movie who is also a Burgess fan. My real question is, I supoose, does his writing technique and brilliant use of language come through in this picture?

Regardless, I'm gonna go back and buy it. It was only a couple dollars. Burgess was the man, man. His "The Doctor Is Sick" is one of my all time favorte novels, and funniest.
