When my mother was touring the middle east the early seventies, she and a friend took up an offer to be extras in this movie. She thinks that some of her scenes were deleted, but she's not sure. Is this movie out on DVD or VHS, and if so, where can I get it? I'd really like to watch it.

mini-series length, not the 141 minute abbreviated theatrical version. The
full length mini-series is the best version, far richer in detail. Someone said
the full length version was available on DVD, but I am not sure whether it will
play in all all regions and/or whether it is in PAL format.

I also worked as an extra on this movie in Israel in March/April 1974 near King Solomon's Mines out of Elat. I've never seen the finished series & would also like to see it. Do you have a source for it in New Zealand?
