Second Season DVDs Delayed - Music Rights Issues
The second season of King was slated for release on May 20th. Those plans have been shelved for the time being, however, due to music rights issues.
Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately Season 2 "King of Kensington" has dropped off the release schedule for the time being because several of the episodes have music rights clearance issues which CBC is trying to overcome now. No definitive dates are available at this time. We will try to advise you when new dates have been established and feel free to check back.
They should have waited until EVERY music rights issue was cleared up before releasing even the first season. The season one set is missing two episodes because of music rights issues. share
