Really...what a worthless segment.
I've seen it over and over, a disgruntled consumer get's nowhere, they call in the fixer and she fixes it....NO DOUBT CALLING THEM UP AND SAYING "Hi, we're doing a segment on GMA about how you screw people over and we will destroy your business" and they cave in.
What good is that, except to the lucky lottery draw people who get the fixer to do that for them?
Once again another family screwed by a car rental company...gets told to go pound salt. The "fixer" contacts them, no doubt threatens a huge national TV story, and the rental car company caves in. There's nothing in the story about how the family could have prevented this themselves!!!!
So in other words it's just a family winning the lottery of being chosen by GMA. Disguised as a helpful segment. The other 1,000,000's of customers getting screwed weekly by car rental companies will all continue to be told to stick it up their ass.
It's practically an ad for that car rental company!
