Did Nick really eat his eraser?

In an episode, Nick Yemana uses a pencil as a chopstick.
He dips in the eraser end into the box to eat off of that.
Later on he exclaims, "Oh my God, I ate my eraser!"
But on a close look, I could swear that I still saw the eraser there.

They could have put in an edible prop. Like made out of gum or something.

It would have seemed more authentic if we would have seen an empty space at the end of the pencil where the eraser was.
Now that I think I can see the eraser, it doesn't seem funny anymore.

I forget , did he say this to another person?

Maybe he was just trying to be funny.

Go for it or just be a gopher!

He said it out loud to himself.

Yeah it was still there. Bear in mind they didn't intend for the episode to be seen on large, high def tvs so they may not have felt it was needed to actually have him down an edible prop if it wasn't actually visible. I mean as is the eraser is hard to see on a modern tv. A fuzzy cathodray tv receiving a signal over the airwaves would have made it next to impossible.

reply

No excuses.
They should have made it as real as possible.

Humans are not the only species on earth.
We just act like it.

reply

Keep in mind as well that Nick was stoned. He could have imagined the eraser gone when it was actually there.
