this show was huge when i was a kid, i know i watched it but being 4 or 5 i dont remeber anything about it at all. i do remember my older brother telling me that the bird got killed by one of barettas enemies or something and baretta found him in the toilet? LOL is this true? did fred die at all on the show??
shareThe only instance i remember of Fred ever being in danger was an episode where Baretta returned to his apartment and it was in shambles from being ransacked (don't remember what was being sought). He couldn't find Fred and started calling for him and he found him inside a box with a note from the bad guys that said something like, "We don't hurt birds, but can't promise anything about you." Fred was ok.

Fred was there until the final episode. Something just occurred to me though. With that species of bird's lifespan, Fred could still be very much alive.
