More fun than the Disney Zorro!

i first saw this on tv sometime in the early '80s i think, and though i had grown up in SoCal where the story is loosly based on historical fact and local legend, i find this more fun and relaxing than either disneys or anthony hopkins version. it would be nice to get a copy with english cc, but cant have everything...i listen through earbuds and get most of the sound. my one complaint is that they made his personal servant a mute who communicates by flailing around. not helpful to him or anyone he was trying to talk to, and kind of insulting to those of us who are deaf or hard of hearing. but overall, a really fun movie to relax with!

This is the best rendition of Zorro on the big screen. Alain Deleon is one of those legendary actors who transcends time, a legendary actor with likes like of Brando in terms of name and face recognition.

This was my introduction to the character so I tend to think of it as the best. I have to admit though that later I realized Power was much better.

Disney did the Antonio Bandarez Zorro films? I wasn't aware of that.
