Andrey Rublyov.

What is the significance of the Andrey Rublyov poster briefly seen on the wall? I didn't like the decision to put it in. It seemed very egotistical.

For me, the entire film is a meditation on memory - in this case, the memories are from the director himself (and to some extent the memory of "mother Russia")

You could argue that the whole film is egotistical (I would not agree) but to identify individual elements as being so seems a little ignorant... is anything that is autobiographical automatically to be considered egotistical? (personally I don't think so)

It aint like it used to be, but it'll do 
