Miser Brothers' decline in popularity

They made a major comeback some years ago. Webpages were devoted to these guys, and there was the live-action version and A Miser Brothers Christmas. Action figures, plushie. But for some time now, these guys have really fallen by the wayside. Most people I know give me blank looks when I refer to them or this special, even when I sing their songs. It's sad... they are awesome Christmas icons, and deserve so much better.
