Perfect winter 'sick day' movie

This is not a great movie, but it is enjoyable. I always seem to come across this movie when I'm home sick from work! It makes me feel better and makes me feel at home. Not bad.

OH MAN you hit the nail right on the head! I only seemed to catch this film on TBS when I would call in for being sick. I grew to love the film for the exact same reasons you mentioned. I used to have it on tape but recorded over it and have regretted that ever since. I've looked everywhere for it and can't find it.

Yup, another TBSer to flick on anywhere & enjoy to the end.

I remember this from when it was first shown back in '74, as a TV movie of the week: I think there was some simmering afoot to make Andy G. a counterculture hero of sorts, live-in g'friend included. @Any rate, it got lotsa publicity up to broadcast time. Also, girl contemplating abortion was not exactly a ratings buster.

I think I taped over my copy too, but I'll have a fresh tape (don't need high-def. DVD for this) ready next time it's on. Plenty of TV-worn faces in this one: John Larch, Tim O'Connor, Eugene Roche, Sheree North. & Yes, Nick Nolte as the ski instructor & early suspect.
