Willie Dynamite correlates with Sesame Street

This is what Willie's job was after he gave up pimpin. Remember at the end of the movie when the kids were playing football. One of the kids threw and errant pass in Willie's direction. With the speed and vigor of a joyful youth, Willie snags the ball and with an infectious smile, he throws the ball back to the kids. It was that moment that Willie had an epiphany. He knew from that moment that he wanted to work with kids.

Prior to that point, Willie and Cora were upstairs discussing how to keep young individuals from leading the same life they came to lead. Willie sitting there in deep thought knew he had an opportunity to change the lives of young people everywhere.

The movie ends with Willie walking off into the sunset. What we don't see though is Willie taking the subway downtown to the PBS affiliate on W. 33rd Street to fill out an application for a new position on a television show called, "Sesame Street". With it's subsequent hire, PBS filled it's minimum minority quota, and Willie has a nationwide platform to speak upon the perils of the pimp game.
