A reliable source has just informed me that Warner Archives is remastering this film for a MOD release at some point. Since Warner Bros. owns the film (how the hell did that happen?), it's certainly possible. No date or details yet, but I'll post here again if I learn anything more substantial.

It's no rumor, Warner Archive has been saying for years that they've been in the process of mastering this film for eventual release. They've confirmed long ago that they are the current rights-holder.
shareI hope you're correct, Cauldron. I'm the original poster, and I've started to wonder if my "reliable source" was actually correct. I think my source mentioned the Warner Archive connection two Halloweens ago, so this is really dragging on. I still hope to see it released someday. I expect that we'd get the shorter US cut, compared to the foreign version running times listed on this site. I have no idea if the longer foreign versions have more sleaze scenes, or just longer dialog scenes.
