They don't change the plot, but that death scene with the wife is among the most horrifying I have ever seen and adds enormous tension to the film.

Did you see this film? If so, you think that scene of the poor wretched woman begging for her life as the vampires prepare to slaughter her is not truly horrifying? It reminded me of video I have seen of Islamic lunatics beheading victims with a knife while chanting "Allah is great".

I think something got edited out. There's a scene where they talk to Sally Faulkner as shes painting and they something about recognizing her from a past life. Not sure if it's meant as an enigma but I suspect it was just sloppy rush job editing.
