Kid N' Play Remake!

According to an Odeo.com pod cast interview with Play of 'Kid N' Play' on Breakdown FM w/ Davey D, (Go to "http://odeo.com/show/1227768/view"; for the article and to listen), in an tell all interview about his career talks about doing a remake of "Uptown Saturday Night". He talks about wanting to push the making of the film with Kid. I'm not sure what the offical word is of doing the film. However, this interview was in 2006, the last words on Will Smith doing this film was on 2002. So maybe this shout out have gotten the gears in motion. Play is getting back into the Hip-Hop world as well as brandishing out in the Director and Producer role as well. Here's hoping!

I agree. Leave this movie alone.

1.) There are no actors out today who could be as down right funny as Cosby or
play the straight man with that little bit of humor as Poitier.

2.) Just leave it alone. It is a classic and does not need to be touched.

I don't know who Kid N'Play is, but it sounds like he is a rapper. And if he's a rapper, and is cast as one of the criminals, then he won't have to do any acting. Hip hop may be popular today, but rappers don't have any show business talent, not even in music.

Um you could have looked it up on this site. The act Kid N' Play is made up of 2 people. Christopher Reid ... Kid. Christopher Martin....Play.
