Could Lorrie have survived?


Was there anything she could do? The building didn't collapse after all. What if she'd taken refuge in the bathtub?

If so I doubt it. The fumes were already getting to her before she tried to open the window and got engulfed.

Probably not. If she'd stayed in the room where she was she would have suffocated at best, and if she'd broken a window the oxygen flowing into the room would have made the fire that much fiercer.

Don't be in a high-rise fire. There are no good options.
