Honestly the violence in this film is laughable for the most part. Even the eye gouge which some claim is real is very quick and seems totally fake. Just turn away if you need, it comes with ample warning as the guy has a scalpel type of tool and then he lays her on the bed and then goes at her eye. The movie is extremely tame by today's standards, only the hardcore sex aspect makes it anything extreme. Seriously, I expected much more gore from this overly tame film.
