Thriller: A Grim Film
There should be a film called 'American Producers: They Never Get The Translations Right'.

"Grym" can be literally translated as "cruel" as well as "grim".
Besides, "A Grim Film" doesn't sound terribly appealing does it?
I agree with KA. I actually think "A Grim Film" sounds better.
Also in English "grim" can still have the meaning of "cruel" (at least poetically) and besides this film is rather grim, in any sense of the word.
Also why use "picture" instead of "film". Even calling it "A Cruel Film" would be better in my mind.
