So netflix has it, has anyone rented it off there? And which version was it.

I just received it, its 103 minutes and doesn't contain the eye poke scene ;/ just a stupid fade to black.

I'm watching the Netflix version right now, and the sleeve says it's 107 min. long.
*spoiler*
The scapel in the eye scene is there, but I don't know it it's complete. You see the scalpel entering the eye and some clear liquid spurting out, but it's all very quick.

reply

Sounds like the complete version to me.

Netflix has two versions:

Thriller: A Cruel Film and Thriller: They Call Her One Eye.

I got "a cruel film" and can say w/ confidence that "the call her one eye" is the edited version.

"A Cruel Film" contains hardcore pornography. And let me say, it is totally pointless, gross, and I would recommend getting "One Eye" which I presume has these hardcore shots removed.

They are found in the montage where the alternate from her life as a prostitute and with her 'clients' and with her learning martial arts, and driving, shooting, etc. Then BAM out of nowhere - a close up of, ahem, penetration.

Its not erotic. I can't imagine finding pleasure in seeing it. unless your messed up in the head that way.

Go for "One Eye."

I think the movie is whorthwhile. And Christina Lindberg gives a pretty decent (a little stiff) silent performance. I also recommend you seeing her in Sex & Fury that is quite good.

The Cruel Film is the unedited version and does contain the hardcore pornography scenes which were a surprise to me.

Anyway, these are only a few scenes and the edited versions contain as much as 15 or more mins removed. Which would be more than just the sex scenes.

Get the Cruel version unless you're easily offended like some posters.

Also, it contains some extras and alternate footage.

I agree, fantasticfreddyg.

The interesting thing about those kind of posters is that they wouldn't understand someone offended by the things that don't offend them.

A picture ALWAYS uncut.

that made me laugh.

reply

I rented it from netflix, and it was the FULL ON porno version. I think they have both versions.

reply

I recommend the full uncut version if you don't get easily offended. While it may have seemed unnecessary to some, it all goes to further your hate for those who wronged one eye. There was no pleasure in what she was doing, it was all to save herself. I feel that it was an amazing film on not only revenge but what someone is able to endure to survive.

All hail the underground cinema. Death to Hollywood

I have the Limited Edition (the background pic on the DVD cover is red). 107 minutes long, the eye removal scene and anal/money shot scene were in tact, and the version was unrated.

There is also a Vengeance Edition (the background pic on the DVD cover is yellow), which has a few additional special features, but at only 104 minutes in length, 3 minutes of footage were edited out. I believe the eye scene and the anal skeet were amongst a few of the bits cut for this version.

They are both available on Amazon.

My favorite thing ever is that you just posted, "big bulbous labia." May you relish in the fact that I think that is hilarious!

Cheers.
