Original short run?
When these movies came out originally, they were part of a collection of artier-than-usual movies. Additionally, they had very short runs, which was unusual for the time. Does anyone remember the details?
shareI remember seeing this as a kid and liking it quite a bit. I remember liking the slapstick comedy parts especially early on when they duel at the convent. There was that trailer for the sequel at the end which was very unusual for a movie back then. Actually it's very unusual in general, the only other one I could think of was "Back to the Future 2 & 3"
I think the 4 musketeers came out about 4-5 months later? but I saw that in the theatre as well.
I remember the 4 musketeers being a more popular movie especially on re-runs. It seemed like they played that movie more often.
