People need to stop calling Halloween the first slasher.

Halloween popularised the slasher sub genre and spawned a whole series of them throughout the 70's and 80's but movies such as this, Psycho and Black Christmas are really the ones that started it and they are all much better movies. Halloween is vastly overrated.
