sick of this film not getting the praise it deserves?

The main thing is as long somebody likes this film including myself and Badlands director thinks its a brilliant.

Let the critics have their remakes, sequels, prequels, pixar, etc.

As long as there are quality films like this one making it to the screen, I will watch them!

Absolutely agree! This is one of the most underrated movies of a great era and deserves to be seen in a DVD release preserving its unique visual style.

I'm perfectly happy that the film is not generally acceptable to the mainstream; it proves that my tastes, at least, are not mainstream. What I object to are 'film critics' who assume that the film is bad simply because they didn't like it.
