Yeah, i tried that too and got nowhere. I tried ordering through Amazon but
there were only people selling used copies for exorbitant sums. What's going on?

I am a bit curious why these movies are not available in Europe yet. I know it is possible to order them through Amazon or TCM, but with shipping it will cost too much. It´s a shame because there are many movie fans all over the world who would be very happy to add these classic titles to their collection. Since many other studios have started their own Movies on demand-program I would think it´s about time it came to Europe as well. I would even be happy to pay for a streaming service just to be able to see some of these forgotten movies. Unfortunately that is also restricted to US customers. Why?

Don't bother. The film is simply copied from their Laserdisc release and has not been remastered. Better to wait for the Criterion Collection edition.
