The novel that this was based on was MUCH better

I read The Terminal Man as a kid and loved the novel.
Finally got around to watching the film (didn't even know a film had been made until recently), and wow, it was disappointing.

Somehow they managed to drain all of the suspense and excitment out of the story as told in the novel when they put it on film.

This film should be remade.
