Best film version?

What do you think is the best film version?
i think the 1974 version is really good, but some important detail is missing..

This is the worst of the three versions I've seen.

I've recently seen the 1945 one, then the 1974 one and only just finished the 1965 one. I've got to say the 1945 one is definitely my favourite. I didn't particularly enjoy the one from 1974; I thought the pacing was too slow and it was difficult to get through. The 1965 one was alright but a bit heavy on the romance side for my tastes, I also found I didn't like this version of the characters as much. That's just my subjective view of it though.
