A houseboat

Spoilers abound...




No, she doesn't live on a houseboat, she lives in a decidely modest bungalow in some nameless 50s/60s era subdivision, which is possibly where one might expect a teacher with a wandering, irresponsible husband to live, although I think that a more direct explanation would be 'in a house that the makeup artist let them use at no cost in return for a job.

She does apparently own a 60s era Chrysler day cruiser, maybe 25 ft or so, which she seem to take out a short ways into the beat-down industrial harbour to catch a few rays some afternoons.

And she was still alive at the end, which differentiated her from most other characters.






Apparently, dogs are wolves with Williams-Beuren Syndrome.

I found the trailer to this on youtube and it is the movie I was thinkin about. I just had details all mixed up. I saw this a long time ago at a drive in when I was a kid. My Mom dragged us to every movie she saw.
