Julie Andrews in a bikini

nuff said. :)

Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!

I believe Julie Andrews' costumes in "The Tamarind Seed" were designed by Christian Dior (not their couture line). Very nice job.

I could only ever take her seriously as a nun or a nanny. Sexy romantic lead? I don't think so.

reply

She and her husband tried desperately to "re-invent" her in serious, romantic, and dramatic leads (e.g. 'Torn Curtain'), and it did NOT work. She should have stuck to what she was good at but, like so many others, thought she had range and depth as an actress and attempted to show it.

reply

She looked nice.

reply

Yes, why can't some people just acknowledge that?

reply

*shrugs* not wanting to admit they were turned on by Mary Poppins.

reply

Wait till they see S.O.B. (1981).

reply

She doesn't do anything for me!
