DVD is available now

I just bought Swallows & Amazons on DVD here in the UK from Woolworths for 5 pounds. As a fan of 60s/70s kids movies such as the old disney tv movies I saw the DVD cover and it looked like it would be an interesting purchase, especially at such a low price.

The DVD has been released by Optimum Releasing Ltd in 2006 and is probably available from Amazon online if anyone is searching for this movie.

Due to an error, the original Optimum DVD release in 2006 had the "Swallows and Amazons Forever!" logo and all the cast and credits missing from the last three minutes of the film, leading to numerous complaints from buyers of the DVD. However, since then, this unfortunate mistake has been put right and all new pressings (same cover, same catalogue number) have the missing parts restored.
