TV Version with different dialogue

I fondly remember seeing this in the cinema as a lad, recently caught up with it again on DVD (time hasn't been kind!)

I also remember seeing it on TV (sometime in the 80s), and the version shown of course had all the swearing removed, but, most interestingly, the offending words weren't cut, they had obviously filmed some scenes twice, with entirely different dialogue for TV.

So for example, Pat Hingle's great line at the end "Not if I were hanging from the Empire State Building by my prick", is replaced by him saying something like "Not if my life depended on it".

Never seen this version since, it would have been nice to see these extra scenes aren't on the DVD.

Anyone else remember this version?
