A few scenes shot on Montague Street

The old Bossert Hotel and some of the old mom and pop stores that used to be on Montague are visible in a few scenes. And green & black NYPD cruisers. All gone now. This movie is a time capsule.

I just zoomed in on Google Street View, and a lot of that stuff is evidently still there. The Bossert Hotel and the Berkeley & Grosvenor buildings, at least. I'd still like to know where the scenes with the sniper attacks are. I was looking down one of the streets and it looks like Cadman Plaza was in the background of one of them.

The precinct reminds me of the 7-0 off of Ocean Parkway. At least the inside. A lot of pcts were converted or relocated over time and the 70's had some relocations as well. A lot or real police terms used. Pretty accurate depiction of NYPD cops in the 70's
