Ha!

Never thot I'd see a reply to this!

I saw her in person one time around 1976 in the veggie dept of the supermarket. I totally froze and couldn't remember her name. My future passed. I could have been Mr. Margaret Willock now if I had just said 'hello'. Haha.....oh, well.

I'd never heard of this actress before watching this movie, but she was so impressive in this movie. Her performance was so realistic. Totally believable, and she did all kinds of cool little flourishes here and there when she delivered her lines, like little ear scratchers or eyebrow rubs, etc. She was so good in this movie.

reply

She had a short career.

Her Dad was a well known character actor in movies in the 40s and 50s - Dave Willock.

reply

Have you seen this movie?
I have a vague childhood image of a woman in a shower, then a evil looking man in a cape sneaks into the bathroom and (I guess) turns on the gas(or something). She passes out, then a couple minutes later another man saves her by carrying her out into fresh air. I saw this scene in the early 70's on the ABC-TV movie. It scared the crap out of me, I went back to taking baths for awhile. ABC-TV used the same movie intros until the 1980's, I always associated them with that scene. Is this the movie I remember?

I saw it when it came out and I am pretty sure it was on VHS video.

Aside from her bikini scenes, the scene I remember is when she thinks the dress dummy in her room at night is moving. That was creepy. And then some guy comes to ogle her in her swimsuit in her patio.

Thanks, but I just sat through this turd. I watched it on youtube. Not the movie I was thinking of though. I watched up until A shower scene, Not THE shower scene I was looking for. Couldn't get through the whole thing.

There were dozens of really great TV movies in the 70's. This was definitely NOT one of them.

For that matter(off topic), neither was The Dark Secret Of Harvest Home. A TV miniseries from '78. Tried watching that on Youtube also. 5 hours of absolutely NOTHING going on. I scanned through most of it, what a wast of time.

Oh. And yeah. Mother and daughter were pretty hot.

reply

Oh, well.

She did another good TV movie called REMEMBER WHEN? that was set during WW2 in America. Jack Warden and a good cast. If it is on line, please let me know. I have not seen it in decades.

Thanks!

I didn't see "Remember When," but I vaguely remember her from "Fay," Lee Grant's sitcom from 1975. Unfortunately, details on her career are sketchy, and she seems to drop out of the business decades ago. I'm pretty sure she was older than her 16-year-old character here ...

I totally agree about Margaret. I loved how she said "bazookas." Her dad was a great character actor from what I've read. I always wanted to be born into a family of actors. Professional acting would have been my family trade of choice. Over time I've come to realize how many unsuccessful actors outnumber successful ones. I've also noticed how many highly successful actors (the only ones you seem to hear about or from) say they actively encourage their children NOT to try to become professional actors because Hollywood is a town known for "eating its young." I'm old school. I'd love to see many more actors in a wide variety of roles just to cherish those sacred moments so many actors can deliver in just one performance. Oh, well, back to reality. : )
