Apparently there is a plan to remake...

Even Quinton Tarrintino says it's too good to remake...

I don't believe you, you're a liar.

The remake will be a contemporary version of the original, so not strictly speaking a `remake'. I heard this direct from the producer.

Watched again on ABC on Sat night. It is ripe for re-doing particularly given all the ho-ha over bikies at the moment. You could do a really good film with the basic material.

People trying to make contemporary bikie movies have run into all kinds of difficulties with the biker clubs. They have lawyers and demand everything and vet the scripts. And carry weapons. Good luck!

This film doesn't need a remake; it's fine the way it is.

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!

I agree, it's too much of a classic to remake.

There are enough true biker stories that can be made into movies. However, "Brothers in Arms", a miniseries that backgrounded and detailed the 1984 Milperra bikie massacre had potential for greatness. Unfortunately it turned out to be a disappointing wasted opportunity.
