English subtitles, R1 or R2

I've been after this DVD for a while and found out it has been released. Looking on ebay I see there's a region 2 dvd from spain, which lists a spanish subtitle but not an English on, there's also a US region 1 dvd, which doesn't mention any subtitles. Do both the R1 and R2 have english subtitles? I have a multi region player so it doesn't really matter although I'd prefer a R2 since I live in England and might want to lend it to someone at some point.
